I am a Fighter
अहं योद्धाऽस्मि

This year’s theme for JBG SHHM, “I am a Fighter” (अहं योद्धाऽस्मि), is a tribute to those who have demonstrated extraordinary resilience and courage in the face of adversity.

In every corner of our community, there are individuals who have faced significant challenges and emerged victorious. These are the people who have encountered and overcome gender bias, battled cancer, surmounted personal and professional hurdles, and fought against all odds to create better lives for themselves and others. Their stories are a testament to the human spirit’s capacity to endure, inspire, and transform.

As part of our event, we are collecting these powerful stories from you—our community. We invite you to share your story or the story of someone you know who embodies the spirit of a true fighter. Whether it’s a woman who has shattered glass ceilings, a survivor who has triumphed over illness, or anyone who has faced and conquered life’s trials with unwavering determination, we want to hear about it.
