The 8th Sunday Long run for PNB MetLife Satara Hill Half Marathon 2018 took place on 1st July 2018. The distance was 16 km, and over 450 runners turned out for todays SUPER RUN. The theme and Pose Of the Week was the SUPERMAN POSE. It was indeed a SUPER FUN day. Runners had a blast posing as SUPERMAN. The route entertainment with DHOL TASHA added to the excitement and the most exciting part was when Hon. Member of Parliament, our very own SUPERMAN SHRI.CHHATRAPATI UDAYANRAJE BHONSLE turned up in person to cheer and support the runners in the ghat section. In fact, he offered and served the energy drinks to many runners himself, and the runners were pleasantly surprised and happy at this magnanimous gesture from MAHARAJ SAHEB himself. The post run lecture by renowned Sports injury & Rehabilitation expert DR RAJEEV SHARANGPANI was an interactive session, which was very informative and inspiring. The post run Breakfast was sponsored by HIRAS BABA NAMKEEN. A BIG Thank you to our volunteers for the route support- DR CHANDRASHEKHAR & DR ADITI GHORPADE, DR NILESH THORAT, JITENDRA & SEEMA BHOSLE with their families
