Attention all avid runners and generous hosts of Satara! We are thrilled to announce the launch of the Runners' Local Stay campaign, an extraordinary initiative to foster camaraderie and hospitality during the renowned JBG Satara Hill Half Marathon (SHHM).

As thousands of spirited runners from all corners of the world gather in our charming town of Satara, we recognize the challenge faced by outstation participants in finding accommodation the night before the race day.

In response, our event organizers have collaborated with the gracious localites of Satara, who are enthusiastically opening their homes to provide a comfortable stay for our running warriors.

For all willing hosts in Satara, this is your chance to be a part of something truly special! The Runners' Local Stay campaign seeks to create a sense of unity and warmth between our outstation runners and the local community.

By offering your generous hospitality, you can be an integral part of their pre-race preparation and ensure that they have a memorable experience leading up to JBG SHHM 2023. Whether you have space for individual runners or can accommodate groups, your support will leave an everlasting impact on our guests, as they take on the challenging terrains of Satara with a sense of belonging. Hosts can choose to offer stays either for free or for nominal fee.

The 16 Week JBG SHHM 2023 Official Training program has started with the First Sunday Long Run (SLR) from May 14, 2023.

The Final Registration Phase for JBG Satara Hill Half Marathon (JBG SHHM 2024) is now live, and will last until all slots are filled.

ONLY PRE-REGISTERED RUNNERS WHO HAVE THE UNIQUE CODE THEY RECIEVED AFTER PRE-REGISTRATIONS CAN PARTICIPATE.

The free and mandatory pre-registration phase, which was live for 4 days, ended on 7 April, 2024 at 6 PM.

10,000+ runners participated in Pre-Registrations. It's highly likely that the slots for the Final Regsitrations will fill very quickly.

The Pre-Registration phase for JBG Satara Hill Half Marathon (JBG SHHM 2024) has begun!

This free pre-registration phase started on 3 April, 2024 at 6 AM and will be open until 7 April, 2024 at 6 PM.

Only the participants who register during this phase, will be eligible to participate in the Final Registration (second phase).

Final Registrations open on 10 April, 2024 at 6 AM and will last until all slots are filled, so be sure to Pre-register early to avoid disappointment.

The theme for JBG SHHM 2024 is encapsulated in the Sanskrit phrase अहं योद्धाऽस्मि (Aham Yoddhāsmi!), meaning “I am a fighter.” It embodies the spirit of resilience, determination, and courage.

This year’s theme serves as a reminder that every individual possesses an inner warrior, capable of overcoming obstacles and pushing through adversity. Whether it’s battling physical fatigue, mental barriers, or the demanding terrain of the Satara hills, “अहं योद्धाऽस्मि” inspires participants to tap into their inner strength and emerge victorious.
