Satara Hill Half Marathon is not a flat highway course. Our pacers execute a specific negative/even-effort strategy designed for the uphill grind and downhill speed.
Look for your pacer holding the high-visibility flag and wearing the official pacer bib. Assemble near your target bus 15 minutes before flag-off.
Do not surge on the climb. Your pacer maintains a controlled, calculated effort rate, saving your quadriceps and heart rate for the summit.
Follow your pacer's hydration cues. Take sips at regular water and energy stations along the route without breaking stride or bottlenecking.
After the turnaround at the top, let gravity assist your turnover while following the pacer's controlled braking technique to prevent quad burnout.
Select your bus, trust your training, and let our pacing team guide you across the finish line with pride.
