RACE RULES & PROTESTS
Official Rules & Regulations
1. Chip Time & Race Winners
- Finish positions of all runners will be based strictly on Net Chip Time (not Gun Time).
- The first 3 Indian Half Marathon finishers (Male & Female) earn prize money under Table 1 (Open Category).
- The first 3 Indian finishers in each General Age Group category earn prize money from Table 2 to Table 11.
- Dual Entitlement Rule: If an age group runner finishes among the top 3 in the Indian Open Category, he/she is entitled to receive BOTH prizes (Open Category prize + General Age Group prize).
2. Timing Points & Verification
- BIB tag timing data must be captured across all official timing mats along the course (Start line, intermediate checkpoints, and Finish line).
- Physical verification is conducted by technical officials.
- Race day high-resolution images will be visually audited after the race. Any participant wearing an unallotted BIB tag or interchanging BIB numbers will be immediately disqualified for the event, including any future events at Satara Runners Foundation.
3. Protests & Appeals Procedure
- Athletes or their authorized representatives may lodge an official protest regarding declared race results in writing within 30 minutes of the result announcement on race day.
- The protest letter must be submitted at the Result Appeals Desk along with a non-refundable Protest Fee of INR 1,000/-.
- In case of any controversy not covered by explicit rules, the final decision rests solely with the Organizers (Satara Runners Foundation).
